SRINAGAR: According to Indian media reports Indian army on Thursday claimed that a militant group targeted their military camp in Occupied Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“The camp that is located at Langate in Handwara region saw heavy gunfire prompting the security forces to retaliate. Two militants have been killed in the exchange,” Indian media reported.
Indian officials said there were two separate attacks during early hours Thursday.
“The first stand-off firing lasted for around 20 minutes, after which search operations were initiated. The second round of firing came in response to militants’ attack on the search operation forces.
