ISLAMABAD: At least four members of a family were killed and two others sustained injuries when unidentified persons fired at a wedding ceremony in Sadaat Calony in the jurisdiction of Golra Police Station on Thursday. The deceased, who were reportedly killed over an old family dispute, were a man, his wife and their son and daughter. According to initial reports, as many as five or six assailants opened fired after entering the house in Sadaat Colony, killing the four. Two other people were injured in the firing. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for postmortem, while the injured were being provided medical treatment. Police have started investigation and launched a search for the murderers. Meanwhile, at least four people were severely injured as the roof of a house fell on them near sector I-8/4 in the limits of 1/9 police station.
