QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan arrested deputy director Workers Welfare Board (WWB) for misappropriation of funds for stipends. He was handed over to NAB on 14 days physical remand. According to reports, massive bungling of funds for scholarship of Workers Welfare board was surfaced. The deputy director was arrested and Accountability Court handed over him to NAB on 14 days physical remand. NAB Balochistan while completing inquiry into irregularities of funds of stipends arrested Deputy Director Sirajuddin. It was revealed during the inquiry that he along with his colleagues distributed scholarships among undeserving people, which were meant for children of poor workers. Thus, he not only caused colossal loss to national exchequer but also deprived deserving people of their right. In view of solid evidence, Accountability Court handed over him to NAB on 14 days remand.
